Around the world in 80 seconds...

Lunch on the great wall
I recently visited the Children's Museum (compliments of Grapes Grandma who gave us a membership for Christmas) with my buddies Emerson and Allison and our Moms and my little bro. It was so much fun! I spent most of the time playing in the Playscape, throwing balls in the water and playing with trains. I took a short break to catch up with my friends at the sand table (but I am not much for dirty hands, so I didn't play there for too long) and sit in the earth mover. Fun stuff! I have to say my favorite, though, was pretending to take pictures. We ended up in the Barbie exhibit so that Allison could have some girlie fun. Emerson and I spotted cameras and decided it was the perfect opportunity to be photographers. We took pictures of the models on the catwalk...our friend Camryn, from church, was happy to let us take a few shots. Afterward, we ran around outside and ate lunch. We sat on the great wall to eat. It was great to climb the pyramids in Egypt and scale the Taj Mahal. I even ran fast past the Coliseum. Crazy how much traveling I could fit in in so little time!

Not so much fun...messy, messy, messy on  my hands.

Yes, we spent a lot of time outside, since the weather warmed up a bit. I bid farewell to the snow and welcomed the sun with a great big smile. Mom wasted no time throwing Deklan and I in the jogging stroller. We ran around the neighborhood three times last week. I loved being outdoors! I've got spring fever!
I got to spend some time with Daddy at the office this week, too. He had me look over some reports and crunch a few numbers. I was happy to take a couple of calls and help get some work off of his plate. I love visiting Daddy at work!

Let me double check those figures...
Lightning fast with a calculator.
Okay, I'll try to wrap that up and email it back to you today.
We also celebrated Valentine's Day last week. Daddy cooked dinner for us, Mommy made jello jigglers and I cut out the heart shapes shortly before slurping them down. We had cookies, too! Yes, we're still on a health kick here, but every now and then you just need a cookie...especially on Valentine's Day.

Speaking of love, I love my little brother! We went to have some pictures taken recently. Don't we look so handsome? Mom was thrilled to have us in matching outfits. I was happy the moment I saw the bat and ball.

I hope you had a good week! I'll be back soon with more pictures and stories to share...

Superbowl III

Okay, officially it was Superbowl XLV, but for me it was #3. We took in the game with our small group family. This year the Lindemans played host, and boy was it a hopping good time. Literally. They had a bounce house in their basement. Emerson and I couldn't pass that fun up! I didn't catch much of the football game because I was caught up in all the fun downstairs. Cars, toys, bouncing...Sweet!

Having a blast in the bounce house!

This week was also great because I got to spend time with Grammy and Papaw. They came down to watch my brother and I while Mom and Dad were at a church function. They brought us cookies and my favorite grapes and this cool bubble set for the bathtub. They also let us stay up til 11pm. I love time with grandparents! Then my Grandma and Aunt Nessa stopped by for a bit. They took us out for an awesome dinner to refuel after a long day of playing cars on the family room floor. After that, we got to celebrate Kim's birthday with the Kernodles! It was such a fun party!
That's not all I am up to, though. Yesterday I built a snowman with Mom and then we shoveled the ice off the drive.  I liked sliding on my slide in the snow better than shoveling though. We've had some pretty nasty winter weather lately. Schools were closed most of the week. Most of the time we were huddled up inside watching movies and staying warm. Daddy built a fire one night and we roasted marshmallows campfire style, in the house!
Watching a movie...my morning routine next to Mommy in my jammies.

Mmmm, yummy toasty marshmallows!
Hope you had a warm and toasty week, too. See you soon!
