My friend Lauren is über talented. Her most recent undertaking is photography and it turns out she's awesome at it! She was nice enough to take pictures of the boys at a local park last week. As was expected, Ryker spent most of the shoot running around and Deklan was his usual fussy self. When she showed me the results I was really pleased! Below are a few of my favorite images. I want to ride it all day long. Daddy and I took my new wheels out for a spin recently. I will really be cruising by the time summer rolls around...just need an extra 1/2 inch on these legs to really give the pedals a good push!
Airplane break!
My little brother and I decided to tag team bath time. It was so much fun. I taught Deklan how to splash and poured lots of water in his mini-tub. I even shared my rubber duck with him. Mom captured a great video of all the hilarity. You've got to see it for yourself!
Emerson and I spent some time together last week. He brought me lunch, which included a delicious brownie. This is us eating our brownies on the kitchen floor. (We took it literally when Mom said we had to sit in the kitchen to eat the treat...and we spilled right on the tile so she could easily clean it up.)
I also went to the Children's Museum with Allison and her Mom last week. We played at the sand table together and pretty much ran the playscape for a couple of hours. We slid and climbed and ate lunch, too. You'll have to take my word for it because Mom couldn't snap any pictures while chasing after me!
I can be a real ham sometimes. One night Mom brought Deklan's pjs downstairs and I thought it would be funny if I put them on. It's pretty snug...Dad says he is pretty sure that that is how all the boys used to wear stuff when he was my age (only I'm missing some long, striped tube socks)! Who knows what this pose is all about.

It is warming up outside, which means getting out and playing in the bright sunshine. I mowed the lawn and played a lot of baseball outside this week, but on the days when it was raining I was inside with my basketball hoop. I love spring! You've got to see me batting and then running the bases (backwards, but whose keeping track?), over and over again.

I memorized Matthew 28:20 and can say it when asked. I'll try and get Mom to video it this week.
There were several birthdays this week. My Grammy and Owi celebrated a birthday yesterday so I called them to say Happy Birthday! I got to go to Brendan's 13th birthday party on Thursday and "party like a rockstar" with him. It was so much fun!
I love my Veggie Tales book, "God made you special." My favorite part is singing the song. Maybe a video is in order for that one, too?
I started golfing this week. Dad was watching the Masters and I told him "The Masters is awesome baby, with a capital A." Mom is wondering where I come up with this stuff. I have been doing a good job of hitting the balls with my golf clubs though. Maybe Dad will have to take me golfing for real this summer.
