Oh the thinks Ryker thinks!

I meant to post on Valentine's Day and send you all hugs and kisses. Instead, the last two weeks got away from me and now I'm playing catch-up. I got to see lots of my family over the last couple weeks. First, my great auntie and Mommy and I got together for lunch. She got me a Dr. Seuss book and stuffed animal. I took it home and named it all by myself. This is "Doo Doo". I call him by name in the books and when I am carrying him around. Mom and Dad just laugh. I don't get it. You can see this in action by clicking here. Then, Grandma came to visit me. We hadn't seen her since Christmas, but once I realized who she was I couldn't stop saying "Mamaw" and just loved playing with her. She brought me Christmas presents and I had a blast opening them. My favorite was the punching balloon in my stocking. I got the hang of it right away and was tickled to pieces to punch that thing all over the house.Later in the week, I got a bubble machine. One thing that Grandma reminded me of was my love for bubbles, but I still have a hard time blowing them on my own. So, Mommy and I found this bubble machine that looks like a Bilbo (dog). I can't get enough of this thing. If you want to see a video of me playing with my bubble dog, click here. The other day I found my Daddy's hat laying on the table. I put it on my head, looking just like an Olympian, and Mom caught it all on video here. I looked so cute she had to take a picture, too.The last couple weeks have not been without some bumps...literally. I fell onto my parent's footboard and that resulted in a giant goose egg on my noggin. By the time that healed up completely, I got sick. God protected my ears from another infection though. I hope to be feeling 100% by the weekend and blog some more for you next week. See you then!

My snow buddy...

The last week and a half we have gotten a bit of snow. Though that means we mostly stay indoors where it is nice and warm, it also means some moments of fun in the beautiful fluffy white stuff. We made my first snow buddy. He was just my size. I didn't like making snow angels as much as I liked making my snow friend. Last weekend was the Superbowl. We surprised Daddy's office with a giant cookie treat on Friday dressed in all our blue. Then, Sunday we got to watch the big game with our friends. Sadly, the Colts could not pull out a victory, but it was neat getting to see Dad's friend Dave on TV in the Doritos commercial (he is in the casket). My favorite part was just being with everyone. I got to see my Mimi, play with Emer and Allison and Connor and Chandler, climb on all kinds of fun stuff, and eat for what seemed like the entire duration of the game. I'll be updating again this weekend with my most recent adventures. See you then!

My alphabet blog...

A lot has happened in the last 10 days. I thought I'd tell you about it using part of the alphabet...

A is for animal crackers. I got a snack bowl that I can carry and get my animal crackers out of all by myself. I really like to say "moo", "neigh", "woof", and "raaaah" when I get the cow, horse, dog, or lion.
B is for birthday. My Daddy turned 30 last Sunday. He and Mommy went to a concert with Jake & Erin and Jared & Gabby in Illinois. I got to stay and play with Robert & Kim and Meghan...and even though I wasn't feeling great, I still had a really good time with them.C is for cookie. I ate such a good dinner Saturday that Mommy gave me a whole cookie. Yum yum yum!D is for diaper box. I love it when we get diapers because I play in the box. I love to climb inside and play peek a boo or just drag a toy in there and play in my own little area.E is for ear infection. My third one since early December. Last Thursday night I started feeling yucky. By the time the weekend rolled around I was sick sick sick. Monday we went to the doctor and found out I had a double ear infection. When Daddy got home on Monday he was sick, too. So, the two of us spent almost the whole week cuddled on the couch letting Mommy take care of us. We both started feeling better a couple of days ago, just in time for the weekend. I loved all the extra time with Dad. We played peekaboo quite a bit. He also built me a chair to sit in out of legos. If I had to be sick with someone, I'm glad it was Daddy!F is for fun! I have been having so much fun the last week and a half, despite being sick. I got a flashlight. I love to shine it around and point at the light. I also got a phone of my own. It's a real one, unlike my toy versions. Grandma & Grandpa brought it down to me (along with the aforementioned cookie). I got to see them for a little bit and we also got to have lunch with Emili. I still like to climb and get into places that crack my parents up. Here I am between the blinds and the window...I just wanted to see what was going on outside. I am also having fun with words. I turned 15 months last Saturday and have a vocab of about 40 words. Some of Mom's favorites are amen, snow, and of course Mommy. Daddy gets a kick out of hearing me say Abby, ball, amen, and hi baby. They both like my new one: IU. We got that one on video for all of you to see. I'm still working on the motions (as you can see).

Thanks for catching up with me. I'll see you next week!
